Working Group Sessions (in parallel)
Summary and Conclusions of First Day Working Groups
WG 1: Vision and Requirements for Sustainable Buildings
Keynote Speech: Visions and requirements for sustainable buildings
Jean Luc Chevalier - CSTB
This workshop will permit an open discussion on the vision all the actors of the construction sector can have collectively of a sustainable smart eco-building by 2030. The Smart-eco project work in 2008 resulted in a first attempt of the expression of that vision, and some requirements derived from that vision, organised within the various aspects of sustainability. After a synthetic presentation of that work, stakeholders will be invited to comment and improve it, through a series of questions asked first to a round table or persons representing different families of actors (research, architects, design, industry, authorities), and then to the audience.
WG 2: Innovation in the Building Sector
Keynote speech: Innovation in the building sector
Stefano Saldini - MACE

The outcome will be to understand and prioritise elements which stakeholders believe have the greatest potential to impact sustainable buildings in the near future, 2010-2030.
